I am new to dcc I have a nce powercab trying to get it to work always says can’t read cv can you get around this very frustrating.
Are you using the Program Track mode, or Programming on the Main (POM)? You cannot read a CV in POM mode.
Unless you must know the value of a particular CV, I just ignore the ‘Cannot Read CV’ message and continue with programming. If you’re going to change the CV value anyway, you don’t need to know what it is.
