Neat Layout Photos-Dial Up Death <sorry>

I did my annual visit to the Miniature Railroad Club of York. They open their club up to the public on Saturdays and Sundays during the Holiday season.

They made some really nice modifications to the club this year including a sea port with working bascule bridge, and a new larger engine service facility.

If any one wants to pay them a visit they are in York PA. They are open December 2, 9, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30 2007 & January 6, 2008. 1->5pm. (At least according their pamphlet.)

Now onto the photos… [8D]

PS: Please excuse the blurry nature of them. Hand holding a camera with no flash when the place is packed is hard to do.

Seaport-1- The bascule bridge works with channel marker lights, an aerial lights

Seaport 2- They were driving the boxcars on and off the carfloats using a pair of switchers

Engine Facility 1- Nice engine house. They have a scratch built John Henry!

Engine Facility 2- Interior view into the roundhouse. Must be brand new. It’s too clean!

Coal mine - This had a nice lil trestle bridge on a branch line

Good looking pictures. Its a great looking layout. I really enjoy the picture of the coal plant. Heaven knows how many of those are in Pa.

Yes the coal mine is a neat section of the layout. Down the line they have a working rotary coal car dump! It has flashing lights, motor sounds and everything.
