Found this on Youtube earlier showing a O-scale model railroad from the showing the Westchester Model Railroad club. No exact date on the video but it had been produced in the '50s. http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=fvwp&v=ygsgU1meEXM

That was good video, I love how the narrator really gets into it.
That was fun to watch. I saved it to a flash drive as a MP4 file.
Is this the club today? or is this a different one.
Think it’s a different one, the newer one says they’ve only been around about 25 years. And it’s inside third rail tinplate, the one in the old movie is outside third rail scale O.

Oh yeah, never saw where it said they started building it 25 years ago,lol
Cool video though, I have watched it a few times. Kind of makes me want to get the MR DVD to see the older layouts.
Back in the 1950s Kalmbach had a color and sound movie “Along the Right of Way.” When I was a kid my church obtained that film and showed if for a “father and son” night – of course my dad took me. From the perspective of a kid it sure was a neat movie and somewhat similar to this one in its “golly gee whiz” enthusiasm.

The other one that’s a must see is Model Railroading Unlimited. They sometimes show it at the Timonium show, that’s where I saw it.
