Havent seen this here yet, and not a member, but If anyone is interested, the Nebraska Zephyr is going to be out and about. It is leaving Chicago Union Station on Sept 22 and 23 to Galesburg, then on to Quincy to be turned and then back to Chicago Union Station. Both days.

Yes, I have a railfan buddy who (with his fiance) is taking the trip all the way to Quincy and back to Chicago on that Saturday in coach…very steep price of over $600 for both of them (parlor is almost double that)! I will be trackside at Eola on Saturday (and perhaps on Sunday as well) to view them on the westbound run (just maybe on the return trips as well), but not on board with them…as much as I’d like to be. [:(]
