Somehow, part of a signpost from my Athearn Challenger G9122 (3985) front boiler has been lost. Google search has not helped. I need the outer curved housing and signboard/lens; parts 41 and 42. The LED is still there.
If not the original parts, I could use any signboard from a Riverrosi, brass, etc, Challenger or other UP model that looks the same, to restore the general appearance. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
Cal-Scale (now Bowser) makes solid brass ones that could get you by until you can find originals.

Tried that, no response. Their website shows only diesel parts.
You might try a Precision Scale part. Not exact for the Big Boy but they might make a decent stand-in.

It took awhile, but Athearn/Horizon finally responded. They had the part and kindly sent it without delay. Meantime, I ordered the Cal Scale brass and Precision Scale plastic equivalents and Microscale decal sheet.
