Can anyone point me somewhere on line to a current MRL roster? I spent last night removing decals off a Kato I&M Railink SD40 that I want to redecal for MRL.
Do a Google for Montana Rail Link. I think Tim Harris may have a roster on his website. Bob DelGrosso at Great Northern Pacific publications has a 10 yr anniversary diesel and freight car book that is still available with a roster that is pretty much up to date for your needs.
The KATO model is pretty close to many of the MRL units in the 200 series except for 250 which was built as an SD40-2. The MRL sd40’s come from several orders and have differences in trucks, dynamic brakes and headlights so finding an exact unit to match is pretty important if you are a stickler to detail.
