I have heard of a manufacturer that was at Naperville this year that had a small 3 dome tank car in his inventory of items for sale.
I have a need for such a car and wonder if you could point me to where it can be bought.

Check out the Walthers flyer website. The Athearn website is also good.
Tangent Scale Models just came out with one, a model of one built in the 30’s and early 40’s. I might have to get one or two and just run it as a through car heading to some chemical factory somewhere. I like tank cars, especially those older Type 103 cars, I have about 8 or so of the Proto 2000 kits.

I’m pretty sure Randy’s right about this being the car Bruce was thinking of:

A very nice car indeed.
That is the one! I ordered one this morning.
Thanks to all.
You bet I will be buying more Tangent cars. Very happy with my Tangent, 3 dome tank car.
Yeah, you definitely don’t want to delay if you want one of these little beauties soon. When I ordered on Wednesday, two of the three post-1958 GATX numbers were out of stock when I tried to add them to the cart, and the undec kit is long gone.
Word on the street is that there will be another run with different numbers, and some pre-1958 dates on the GATX cars. 'haven’t heard anything on the timing, though, so that’s anyone’s guess.
Oh that would be the one I would want, a pre-1958 GATX car.
