Hi all
I am in need of contact information for TCS (the car shop) models. I tried to send an email to them via their emil address and it bounced back. Does anyone know if they are still in business? I have a kit from them that was missing parts and have not been able to get ahold of them for replacements. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

In many cases, not being able to send or receive replies to e-mail is normal for the Internet – try their phone number that is listed on their web site.

Are you sure you tried to contact the correct place ? When I first typed The Car Shop into Google it took me to a place in Wyoming that sells real cars, not models. The one above is located in Australia.

I am going to try calling again tonight after work as the phone was unanswered yesterday (Sunday). TCS Models sell cast resin kits and is based out of Avon Lake, Ohio. They do not have a web site that I can find and the email address I found for them is on the links page on the Sylvan Models web site. I am suspecting that Sylvan Models may have made the kit for them at one time as it has the “look” of one of their kits. Anyway, I was thinking that maybe someone, in the vast network of people we have here, might know something of them.

Okay, it seems to be a case of too many companies with the same name. If the one you’re trying to contact has no web site and doesn’t answer e-mail, they may no longer be in business. Unfortunately, model makers come and go almost weekly because many of them are small mom and pop operatiions, and the owner decides to retire, doesn’t sell enough to stay in business, or passes away.
