Well I love making buildings for my layout. and I could really use the extra money so I am going to try my hand at EBAY!..So…
Please give me your suggestions and comments! I want to get good at this,( I am currently tracking Mellow-mikes log car] and I know I am no where near that perfection, But I believe that you only get better when you run with the big dogs! So beside needing a good camera, please let me have your feedback!!!
Thanks,
David

Stripes, good effort. However, it is really hard to see the models. I think you need to add close ups taken at a much lower eye level with the camera, so that the buyer can really see what you are selling. The pictures just don’t do your work justice. Also, you might want to add more to the descriptions. It looks like you have added posters and some other details, so let everyone know.
When you see what Mellow Mike gets for his models it is quite breathtaking, but I think he has such name recognition now that there are collectors that just want his models, rather like what has happened to Fine Scale minatures kits.
Anyway, as my Mom always says “If you don’t aim high …etc”
Thanks simon! I went back in and edited the ad to mention the posters, however there is not much I can do about the pictures until I can afford a decent camera. Thanks for your help!
David
Those might be nice models, but you can’t tell from those pics. There is nothing distictive to see. They could be plastic for all the pics say. Just good does not get much. You need spectacular models and spectacular pics to get spectacular prices.
