Hey people im building an N scale layout trying to find out this kind of loco if any one has an idea please post your info will be very use full.
M-K built MP1500B
Kind of looks like a Morrison-Knudsen MK1500D ( http://www.northeast.railfan.net/images/ptra9606a.jpg http://www.northeast.railfan.net/images/ptra9605.jpg ), but it could be a MK1200G, MK1500D, MK2000D, MP15D, or an MP2000C. It’s kind of hard to tell from your photo. Start looking about half way down this page all the way to the bottom. http://www.northeast.railfan.net/diesel79.html

“The Official Locomotive Rosters and News, 2005 Edition”, published by DPA LTA lists PTRA’s locomotives as MK1500Ds. I added the strikethrough to the title because as far as I can tell, it is not official anything but nevertheless is a handy resource and usually accurate.
