Hello all and thanx for reading this. I have found a pin that seems to be made of brass, and chrome plated. It measures 1 1/2 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches wide. Stamped in to is “T.C.I.& RR Co”(first line) “FAIRFIELD WORKS” ( line two) Then it has the number “723” in large type. I have earched the internet over looking for some little clue as to its date, value, use, ect. I have learned alot about Tennessee Coal, Iron and Railroad. I have pictures if any one thinks they might be able to help me just email me at sumgyfrmtx at yahoo, or call me at 903 407 7033. Any help would be greatly apreciated!! Thanx everyone!! larry[:)]
I have a T.C.I. & R.R. CO. Red Mountain Works pin. ( not Fairfield works, my dad works there now) with the number 5625 stamped into it. I wondered if you ever found anything out about yours.
