i have a lgb that i dont like and i want to bash build it to a t-1 duplex pennsy i know i need a nother engine i have 2 but now i need help on it. did anyone do a bash build of it and or is there one out there please help thanks chad

Chad, As my "speciality’ seems to be articulated locomotives -maybe I can help? Try here: http://www.cabbagepatchrailway.co.uk/welcome.html The section you are mainly interested in is called “Kitchen Sink Engineering”. The Penn RR. Duplexs would best be built as a chassis above two independently pivoting Steam Bogies with attached Adams Bogies (rather than Bissel Bogies) fore and aft. This would give it the flexibility it would require. You would need to ensure that the pivot points for each pair of bogies sits on the 12.5% and 87.5% points along its length The second drawing on Section 4 of “Kitchen Sink Engineering” will show what I mean. Any more questions then please ask -that is why I wrote all of it! regards ralph

I did a Challenger, using two Pacific drive units, and various parts off the Pacifics. I pivoted the front unit, on a thrust bearing, rear unit is fixed. I posted some pix/articles over on MyLargeScale, I guess in the modeling forum or scratchbuilding, can’t recall. You can do a search within each forum.
