Need help on BQ23-7 Rebuild

I know most people hate the site of the BQ23-7, but its diffferent and I have one from when I was a kid and I want to bring it back to life on a modern chassis. Its an old Bachman unit from the 80’s.

Any one know what units I can swap the shell to with minimal work.

Seems to me that the Atlas U23B would make a good starting point for your conversion. I couldn’t say exactly what mounting issues you might encounter, but they shouldn’t be insurmountable. That would be what I’d do were I considering such a conversion. Hope this helps.
