Need help on constructing manually turn outs

I’m looking for a manual turnout. I saw it in a video where a modeler had his turnouts attach to wire that were attach to wooden balls. does anyone know how to make it or have any links to a site?

do you use a lot on your layout?

The majority of my turnout controls will be manual. I have 30 or so Caboose Hobbies ground throws.
