Need Help Replacement part for 2-8-4 berkshire by bachmann

Hi Does anyone know what other company part(pilot) for a bachmann 2-8-4 will work/fit? Need to know the Company and part number? Thanks!

And, silly question time, but, why not a Bachmann part?

Almost any pilot can be used in its place, with work, some more, some less, just depends on how much work you are willing to do…

Ho scale… Bachmann because they don’t have any in stock right now.

Cal Scale makes (or made) brass castings for the NKP pilot, plus a USRA style pilot that might work for a PM version. For a C&O version, I’m not sure, but I suspect PIA or Precision Scale has one that would be appropriate.
