need help starting a new layout.

I am not new to model railroading.But it has been a long time.My last layout was in1985.it was a freelance layout.had about 700 feet of track.i had to move and left it every thing there.Now iam ready to jump back in.I live in louisville kentucky and i think it would be nice to model the LN lines from the 1930s and 40s.Any info would helpful.

Living a bit south of Nashville mysef, the L&N is about all you’ll find at the local hobby shops (LHS’s)


I live real close to this caboose. You shouldn’t have much trouble finding things on the L&N.
