I’ve been working hard on my first table and would like to upload some pictures to this site, but can’t figure out how to do it for the life of me!! I’ve clicked on the image icon at the to of the page but can’t seem to be able to transfer the pictures over from my other files.
The pictures you want to post on here need to be online already. You need an account with a site like photobucket.com and upload your pics there and then link to those pics on here.

Yes and? What is the format? or is it the controls at the top of the posting page. Insert an image on BOTH ends of the url? Do not want to screw up something. I had it once and LOST the notes!!! Old age I guess.
As Brian stated above, the picts you want to post first need to be on the web already on a site like photobucket.com or railimages.com. Then:
- Go to that site and open the pict you want to post.
- Right click on the pict.
- Scroll down to “Properties”.
- Highlight and copy the url address listed on the properties dropdown.
- Go to the post on the MRR forum you want to post pict on.
- Type left bracket [ then img then right bracket ] then right click and paste the address you copied from the properties.
- Then type left bracket [ /img right bracket ] and viola… your pict is inserted in your post to the thread.
Hope this helps…
By format I assume you mean the format the pic needs to be in. They can be whatever format you want, .jpg being the best in my opinion for posting online.
Once you have the pic online somewhere like photobucket.com, you can then post it on the forum by either cutting and pasting the link like this:
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e71/bryanbell/5f4794d7.jpg
or by inserting the image by using the IMG tags [ img ]
Will try it, thank you.
