need help with drill bits

I’ve been thinking about adding some hand rails to my small, gas electric boxcab that i built for Smokey Hollow. I currently have some stock of .020 thick music wire, but i need to drill some holes to insert the wire into.

My question is how thick is a, oh say, #75 drill bit? A #80? #50? Is there some sort of chart i could reference too?

I found several sites on the internet that would let me download and print charts. I also found that the little bottle of drill bits has some sizes. The most useful for me however was a small digital caliper. I use that a lot.
