I just got a LL Mallet (the one with DCC and sound) and placed it on a DC test track which is being powered by a Kato Unitrack power pack. I read the instructions and had no trouble getting this beautiful piece of work to move forward with sound. I turned the throttle back to zero and waited for the engine to stop. I flipped the throttle through neutral and into reverse hoping to test that direction. When I turned the throttle back up it began making sounds but I could not get it to move at all in reverse, even with the throttle in its maximum position. The manual seemed to indicate it that reverse motion would work with this simple procedure. Not quite sure what to do here.
