I tried to upload some pics from my hard disk to photobucket to put on WEPF. The screen said the upload was complete, but I cannot find the new uploads anyplace. Anyone have some suggestions as to what might be causing this or what I can do to correct it???:
Some uploads take time to encode and become availible on the internet.
I switched to Dropshots because it was faster desite a 2 minute limitation on video length.
I recall a upload that should have gone up to Photobucket but failed to “Make it” to the webpage. I later discovered that it was a power failure at the time. The Router was not protected by the UPS battery at the time. The new UPS Battery does protect the Router and power failures no longer interrrupt my up or downloads. Now as long the power comes back on within 25 minutes or so, I dont even notice power problems these days.

i just reup loaded the photos and it worked the second time
Try hitting the “my album” tab at the top and then the “view all” hot key. I’ll bet that’ll do it for you.
Sometimes it takes a moment to place the file where it belongs…it happens occasionally on railimages, too. What I do is to log out, log in, and see if that corrects it…or you can just do a refresh on the two green arrows at the top of the page.
When that fails, I figure the server is having problems and is about to reboot, so I wait a few minutes and do the upload procedure all over again. Then, a few days later, I will notice that the image is on my albums twice…so it was stored, but not allocated until sometime later.

I’ve had the same thing happen a couple of times. It’s no big thing. I just upload them again and it works.
