Hello I tried a few things and the best result was to paint the tulle and then put it on the dowel. If paint the dowel first concrete and then wrap the tulle then spray red for the brick it runs under the tulle. You can’t get the tulle tight enough to stop the paint. But it was worth the try.
Have you tried handbrush acrylics?

Hello yes I have tired hand brush that was worse. I think a airbrush would be the best but I don’t have one yet .As far as running ducks in the ground why my layout is not in California and that stuff wont hurt you.[:D] Does anyone have a photo of that brick paper that you used on something round ? I would like to see what it looks like when is done. Thanks Frank
