Hi ALL!
I just got the giant box of train stuff. I found these plastc cars on the bottom, I’m trying to figure out who made them. Could they possibly be cars for a “load” on a Auto Carrier ? I see a couple of Corvettes, maybe an Eldorado and some Thunderbirds maybe? YA, there all filthy ! The ones with bottoms say made in Hong Kong and a number, the Corvettes have the # 5615.
This is an old Athearn “Auto-Loader” with the original 4 autos that came on it. I don’t think these match any of yours, but, well, will ya look at the tailfins on those Caddies!
Your vehicles (well, the boxy wagon/sedan and the El Dorados) are Bachmann, supplied w/ the Bachmann Trilevel of decades ago (15 of them), and also available in low-cost 6 vehicle Blister-packs. Bachmann Tri-Levels w/ vehicle model loads
The paint work on the models is crude, but the El Dorado (1971 maybe, not sure, hard to match even using Google Image), when stripped and repainted and detailed, makes a fairly good model (someone posted an image of this in one of the the 1/87 vehicle photo-galleries - however, since there are currently 490+ galleries w/ 6-9 images per gallery, finding that image is an exercise left to the reader)
