Well, I got an email about your newest posting to me seen above – at my nyctransitmodeler @ msn.com Outlook (MSN) email acct. Its the same email address and password I used to join here some years ago. It on the index card created for this site when I joined with all sign in info. I do that for ALL places where I need such info for other sites. Anyway - I clicked VIEW TOPIC on my email, and it took me here to sign in at Classic Trains. My sign in email addy was shown in text below the empty sign in box, but I actually typed it into the sign in box for email address as you suggested. It then asked for my password. I typed that in – both were typed correctly - no typos. – and again, I got an INVALID NOTICE !!
– see screenshot below ! NOTE_ I replaced the last 6 characters of my password with ------ (6 dashes) to keep my password private. But it WAS typed correctly
So it asked if I wanted to sign in with Google – and I used my Google mail email address and its set me up with a new account (what, to replace the earlier one ??))
This place and its systems are too bothersome. I am on other train forums that are so simple to use and sign in and never a problem.I hope the screenshot shows up – it came from a folder on my computer but it shows some http image code instead of a photo as I type this.It looks like it replaced my earlier email address and account with a " J " letter where my avatar photo would be I I provided one. THEN, moments later, in added my Avatar Face-Photo from my GOOGLE account !!! Boy, what a P I T A - and no one to talk to at Classic Trains on phone to discuss this either.
