Just found a Vintage Vehicles Erie B-2 Steam Crane, Kit # 764-5, complete in the sealed bags but lacking the instructions. Looks like a great kit but it’s a bit too complicated for me to just wing it during assembly and I’d like to do it justice. Does anyone have the instructions for this kit they could copy, fax, E-mail or snailmail me? Thanks.
Hi,
This is the same as the Jordan #304 Erie Steam Crane.
You are correct! There are lots of little parts!

It is a great little kit. You can see in the instructions by the scribbled notes, that I built mine in 2010. You can click on each page and be sent to Flickr where you can use the download arrow to pull the .jpg file and save it to your machin
Yikes I have mine in a box somewhere and never opened it up to look at the instructions or count the parts. Now I am scared!
Any tips, Ed?

Wow, Eight years and 3,000 kits ago? I don’t recall any specific hints other than some of the parts need to have their edges and parting lines cleaned up. Also, thread the boom and load lines around the drum before you assemble the cab walls.
I sure hope someone picks up the Jordan line. These kits are getting pretty scarce.
Good Luck, Ed
Ed, Thank-you very much! It’s supposed to rain here tomorrow so this will keep me busy. Again Thanks.
