Need Loco ID, Northern Pacific Lines 4185 Tie Clasp !

Hi ALL!
I just found this very cool Tie Clasp @ the bottom of a box. I don’t recognise the Loco, not a Big Boy, but looks afully big ! It’s running Northern Pacific Lines, has the # 4185 . Was it real in it’s time ?? Any info would be appreaciated !!

It’s not Northern Pacific. It is a Southern Pacific class AC-8 ‘Cab Forward’ engine.

The locomotive is a Southern Pacific Cab Forward type of articulated and was a real prototype.

The Southern Pacific Lines lettering would be correct for that Cab Forward until 1946 when the Southern Pacific lettering was used after that time.
