Hoping for some help here. I need photos, or info. on where to find photos (color prefered), of the Grand Trunk Western NW-2 7974 in its as-delivered scheme of black body with orange “Bow-Wave stripes”… Please any help would be greatly appreceiated…

It was pretty easy to find. Just Google GTW RR roster and then click on RR Picture Archives and scroll through the ENTIRE list of GTW motive power (past and present) until you find #7974. There are three or four color photos available. I sprayed an SW-9 with the blue and orange and decaled it for my own layout. RTR GTW engines are kind of few and far between I’m afraid. Hope this helps and I’d post the photos for you, but the system for posting pics here isn’t the most elegant. Gerry S.
Gerry, I have seen those. I am in need of views of the Original, as delivered from EMD in 1947, scheme. I have seen a side shot in B&W, but need color pics of side and both ends to get custom decals made.

Oops, my bad, I glossed over what livery you were looking for. Another source might be the GTW Hisorical Society’s archives. Also, a guy named Larry Burke just posted a huge folder of old GTW motive power photos on the Facebook page. Good luck. Gerry S.
