I’m modeling the Erie in both N and HO scales. Problem— I’ve no problem in finding Erie locos (steam) and rolling stock except for cabooses. Ther are EL ones available which could be repainted and decaled for the Erie, but I can’t find decals either, accept for diesel locos. My layout is representing the Erie before the merger with the Lackawanna. Thanks in advance, Ken
You may end up having to make your own decals. Good luck on the search! If they exist, someone here will know.
Here’s some Erie decals, no mention of Lackawana, labeled for steam in HO, 1930 thru 1950:
Same deal fo N scale:
No idea if this is what you need, but I had the Microscale link and thought I’d post it.
Thanks jeffers. Thats what I meant in my help needed topic.
See, I told you!
Good deal, glad to help.

Ken,
I know exactly what you mean. There are only a couple of plain Erie Cabooses. The Athearn one is decent looking but I don’t know how accurate it is. I believe Atlas makes one, too(?)
JJL Models makes a nice looking resin kit caboose but it’s not cheap. Here’s the link and a couple of pics: http://www.jjlmodels.com

I really would like to get the HH660 switcher and letter it for the New York Central. NYC didn’t have any HH660s in their roster but they did have HH600s. They are essentially the same except the 660 is 3" longer (about 1/32" in HO scale) than the 600. (You’d have to be a real hardcore rivet counter to notice that.)
Anyhow, hope that’s a help…
Tom
Sorry about answering so long after posting. Been out on th 18 wheeler all week. Anyhow, thanks for all the help. tstage, that Athearn looks pretty close to what I remember and aslong as its Erie red and lettered for Erie, I’ll buy it. Ken
