Anybody know where I can find an HO-scale tender for an H10s Consolidation. I need a tender like the one on WA #81, which is on my home page at:

I think the Bowser H9 Consolidation can be modded to make the engine, but the tender just won’t do ( http://www.bowser-trains.us/holoco_h9.php ). Anybody have any suggestions?? Thanks.

Take a look at the old Rivarossi 0-8-0 clear vision tender. You might be able to use one of those as a starting point, just replace the coal bunker extension with one like the prototype. Going to be difficult with any USRA design because of the rivet lines.
Good luck.
Model Die Casting makes, or made, a small PRR tender that could also be a start for this tender.

Bowser makes a Lines West tender for their H-9/10. I’ve got two of them. They’re a bit basic, but not hard to superdetail. Don’t forget the patches!
After posting (above) that Model Die Casting/Roundhouse has or had a PRR low side tender that might be used for this project, I got to thinking that years ago I had bought that tender and decided to dig it out and take a look. Well, as Gomer Pyle used to say, surprise surprise surprise. Inside the box I had also tucked a set of parts to make a PRR Lines West tender, with the curved coal bunker sides as you picture. The maker was Lee Town, which I remember also making scale trucks (highway trucks that is) in HO. So I dug out my 1982 Walthers catalog. Lee Town made the parts for a Lines West tender to fit both the MDC as well as the Bowser (Penn Line) low side tender. The Walthers part numbers: for the MDC 432-2077, for Bowser 432-2076. Price in '82 was $6.95. The quality looks ok. I suppose there is a chance that Bowser bought the tooling, at least for their own tender shell
So hit the swap meets or ebay and hope and pray – this is the kind of thing that ends up being in grab bag boxes of parts. A classified ad in the PRR historical society magazine might get results too.
