Actually three other restoration projects so far and cement gun is 4th, with two more to go. Mark emailed me that information. I have been to two winter photo shoots and LOVED every minute. Ely is an amazing place.

I did not realize that Pat Nixon was born in Ely. Just goes to show that you can always learn something if you pay attention. Hope the centennial of her birth helps both the town and the Nevada Northern.

I like the show. I remember the railroad vacuum cleaner and a security chest. Maybe they did a luggage cart, I forget.

American Restoration has featured two other restoration projects done for the Nevada Northern.

I wish you’d run stories like this a day or two ahead. I don’t usually read News Wire until the next day.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Nevada Northern Railway last May. It was a quiet day so I had the roam of the property and got to see inside the shops and museum. Here’s a link to some photos including the vacuum and strong box mentioned by Jeff Demaagd.
