Glad to see some more steam engines getting back to full health. From what I have read is the NN is taking pride and trying to keep the heritage alive and well.
The NN is a fantastic railroad! It really us a must-see for any history buff. Original enginehouse, car shops, complete facilities! Even the coaling tower(not operatable) is still there!
Their wrecking crane is operatable too.
I once passed through Ely and stopped long enough to watch the train depart and check out the gift shop, but I didn’t have time to ride or explore. This is one gem I really want to get back to.
