Canadian Model Trains is looking for pre-orders for American road name 5-axle C-Liners (B-A1A wheelbase).
Railroads include New Haven[8D], New York Central, and Long Island RR.

Great news!
What frustrates me is that I was around when these units were in service but I can’t remember seeing them.
Even though I was a kid, I clearly remember FL9s, EF4s, NH trains and LIRR trains.
The LIRR ran near a family friend’s home, but I mostly saw the MU cars when we went over to Long Island.
The C-liners and other deisels we’re used on name trains and out on the east end of the Island (Where it wasnt 3rd railed, and still isnt to this day).
