Hey there everyone,
Well it has been a busy Spring for me. I have not had much time for posting…only lurking now and again. Amidst all the busy stuff life has brought forth I still managed to find time to get some new track down. In short my line is now about double in size. The existing loop was cut and I added a whole lot more track to create a continuous double loop. Last fall I made a 6’x12’ addition to the garden with the intention of adding on this Spring. So far so good. Tuesday I plan to get some pics of my work and I will add them on here. Hope all is well with everyone out there. Looking forward to getting back on here on a regular basis. That’s it for now. Later eh…Brian.
OK took some pics just a little while ago…so here they are!
Basically the loop was cut at the North end of the line which is by the garage. From there it heads down the fence line and into the new addition. After a turn back it comes to a new 90 degree crossing that needed to be added. Next we cross the dry creekbed with a new covered bridge. After that it heads back up parallel to the outside track . Lot’s of work to do yet but it sure made for a lot longer run! Now I need to get some trains on there! Later eh…Brian.
Rene,
Too funny. It was late last night when I posted this. I realized afterwards that the title may raise some question. No matter…it’s all good. More later! Later eh…Brian.
Hi Ben,
Sorry we have chatted in a while…some days I hate how busy things can get. [V] Hope to show you all some pics later on today. It’s threatening to rain here. Finally got some time to play! Later eh…Brian.
Hey there,
Thanks for the kind words guys. Well as of this evening the trains are back in service. Now I need to ballast all the new track in. I will definately get more pics for you all in the future. Now that the track is down I will be narrowing the gravelled areas so that the greenery will be closer to trackside. All in good time! Nice to be playing again. Later eh…Brian.
Marty,
Ya’ know…I had’nt realized the possiblity of great film footage until you mentioned that. I’m thinking a couple of cheapo battery locos and some good old fashioned fun. Hmmmmmmm…Later eh…Brian.
