New and need help

I am going to put a train up and never done it before. it will be HO. I have EZ track but my boy wants to use cork and flat track. If I do then how is the best way to lay the cork.?? Do I glue it or nail it or what. All help will be appreciated.

BTW this is my first time to post.

[#welcome] RudeRat,

I would not suggest glueing as that is more permanent way to attach something, nail it down with the track.

Also most people here on this forum are into O gauge trains, you will do better to try the Model Railroad forum of this site!

Lee F.

Well, you got rid of him!

So, just how does H0 cork differ from 0 cork roadbed?

I don’t think Lee was getting rid of him . That’s what we always do, he welcomed him & gave him some good advice & told him where all the HO people are . Oh, I don’t think there’s too much difference in O & HO cork roadbed except the width. Hope this helps !!

Thanks, John

Lee, you did good. [^]

Lee don’t feel bad you did’nt get rid of him as a fellow on the so-called HO/N Guage forum did to me once . Very UN=POLITELY told me to go back with the old geezers on the O guage forum and ask my question — LOL – [soapbox] I think it was the model railroading forum if I remember correctly . I asked him "where do you think model railroading started ? "
