It was announced for a long time that Bachmann’s new HO SD40, GP38, improved 4-8-4s, and Spectrum 4-4-0 would be out October 31st, but now they’re not available. Bachmann isn’t selling any through their website yet, and Walthers now says their delivery date is “Unknown.” Is there some sort of problem that anyone knows of? I’d really like to see how they look, especially the 4-4-0.
Very likely the container from China is stuck in Customs. Or delayed, or 1001 other reasons. But I would suspect a shipping delay from China of some kind.

More vaporware the hobby has alot of that
The big news from Bachmann at this year’s Ihobby was not to announce product too far in advance. There’s a lot from last year’s show yet to appear. We just won’t know what other projects they may be working on. I think the mfr’s may be slowing things down a bit, with not so much new product out. THey may want a bigger sale woth more runs of older product.
