With all of the talk going around about People who like and just hate the new BNSF logo. I personaly like the new BNSF Railway logo. What do you think?Allan.

I like all of the bnsf schemes, I wish kato would bring out the Heritage 3[:)]

I call it H3 - BNSFrailfan- you forgot one- “geometric triangle” on the tower55 website they called it that as well as H3. I would NEVER call it the “swoosh”

It signifies that BNSF is ready to serve our needs more effiently. I personally think the yellow one looks good.

I don’t care what logo they use. It’s that orange paint, that’s burning out my retinas, they can lose.

Or, at least start putting a giant “01” on the sides of their engines…

i don’t like H2 or H1 that much- because of the green- H3 is much better because the green is gone and it’s black now[tup]

I also like the old cascade green BN units, but nothing beats H3

I prefer the “Doorstop” logo.

I also like the idea of putting the 01 on the side, but since that’s not likely…yeah, I like the new one. The only one I don’t like is Pumpkin.

It is too straight and angular to be considered a swoosh. A swoosh would have some sort of curvature.

As for being called a “Heritage anything”, since they’ve changed from green to black, what is heritage about it? The Orange from the old empire builder? One color hardly a heritage makes. Maybe they should call it the Halloween scheme?

To me it looks like they had a contest and selected something that a kindergartner or Lionel designer came up with, or maybe drunk executives on the back of a cocktail napkin. It has no class or imagination at all.

Wedgie – as in pull your under shorts up too tight. Puts the logo right where it belongs.

And actually the worst thing about it is what it represents. It is no longer the Burlington Northern & Santa Fe. The official name is just the letters BNSF. One more step away from any ties to the original railroads. 10 years from now people will be wondering what it stands for and asking about it, just like they are now asking about the meaning of CSX.
