Has anybody sighted any units with the new BNSF paint scheme? I have been waiting for one to come through our town of Aurora on the race track but have yet to see one. Any sightings?
I think it might be a little while. But if you were to see one, that’s probably a good place. Nice RR town Eola… We use to walk there from Warrenville when we were kids, back when the old plank bridge still went over the middle of the yard.

Thanks Dave. On weekends lots of us frequent the McClure Rd. crossing area where the yard office is located (we park our cars on the South side of McClure in the makeshift parking lot there. Come join us some time! By the way, you can still see the approaches to the old plank bridge and the bridge supports are still in place on either side of the tracks and you can see them from McClure with binoculars if you look closely.
Keeping my eyes peeled around here, I assume it may be a while before they make their way up North, but I suppose you never know.

I am going to Crosby soon and my grandparents house is right on the main of the Powder River-Superior,Wisconsin. They usually have new powerful locomotives on the point, have already seen Gevo’s on the points twice. They also routinly run BN SD60’s still in the BN creme green with no BNSF lettering. So if there out there, ill see them.[yeah]
