Just checked the MR website and noticed that MR has three new books announced.

One in particular is very interesting-it’s about “modeling the 50’s”!

Also another on “logging railroads” in their reference series.

Hopefully the “Modeling the 50’s” book will increase the interest in this era, and result in more models for this period!!

I’ve alrady got mine ordered!

I will get both of them. First of all I model the 50’s and second I live in and are inspired by the logging region that I live in. From my bedroom window I can see woods for miles.

Is Modeling the 50s is different book than the one published under the same title a year or year and a half ago?

Yes, it’s different, this new book is in the reference series, not a special issue as was the modeling the 50’s.
