After cunsulting my friends here on the forum, I decided to buy the new 10.8V cordless Dremel. The thing had power to spare right out of the box but I decided to charge it fully before actual use. I feel that it has as much power as my plug in model and has a good “feel” for delicate work. It will get tested when seamonster comes over and grinds some rail with it.

Hopefully we won’t create as much noise and sparks as a real rail grinder. Those things are awesome to watch! Especially after dark!!
Let us know how it works out. I have been considering one myself. I hate to be stuck to my work bench via power cables.
