New EJ&E Photo Upload Area

In light of recent events, I wanted to make it as easy as possible for people who want to help document the EJ&E over however many months there are left. I welcome anyone who likes to photograph the EJ&E to register on the new upload area I’ve setup, and save their photos there. These photos will eventually be put on the www.ejearchive.com site under the credit of each photographer.

Registering is very easy. PLEASE follow all the instructions on the front page when uploading.

Thanks for the info What has happened to the EJ&E I once lived in Mokena Ill. just a bit from the EJ&E yard in Joliet, Spend many a morning on the bridge going over the yard. When I worked for IBM i would visit the steel mills and watch the “J” there. My N scale layout has a train from the EJ&E. no more “J” how sad

It’s been announced that CN is buying them soon.

With so many of you Chicago guys it should be a snap to bank plenty of pictures. I noticed the EJE memorabila prices on eBay have gone up on certain things.

Just wanted to give this a bump. We’ve got a nice start with photo contributions, but I know there’s some regular J shooters out there that haven’t uploaded anything yet… So let’s keep the shots coming.
