Ok i just bought a used Prr engine (i will upload photos later) and it has a engin in it but it does not run so any ideas how to hix it.
Need more details, like light comes on, makes a humming sound etc.

We’ll also need to know what it is and who made it to give any real help. Giving tips for fixing an Athearn diesel won’t work on a broken Tyco steam engine.
Can you power the motor directly? Are the wheels dirty? Any broken wires? That’s about all I can think of for now.
Also is it DCC or DC, and what type of system are you running on your layout?
