Testors under the Floquil brand is releasing new weathering markers, in the following colors, Rail Brown, Railroad Tie Brown, Rust, Aged Concrete, Weathered Black, Roof Brown, Earth, Mud, & Grime. I have had them all on back order with Walthers for some time, most retaillers say that they are due out end of July, Anybody know more than me about this?
Haven’t ever heard about these, but thanks for the info, I’ll look into them. Sounds neat.
I just went to the Testors web site but I couldn’t find any ‘marker’ products under the Floquil brand name…
It appears they are on “advance reservation” status at Walthers.
This sounds great but what technique could be used on plastics?
Even if the markers are plastic safe, how would you blend, streak, or feather them out?

They might be useful for specialty applications–especially touch-ups on items where paint has scratched off. Ideal for touching up brass locos where bits are poking through…I can think of a few candidates on my shelf right now!
Guys,There are several uses for paint makers from touch up to painting sides of rails and perfect for "spot"weathering.
