What I’d like to know please[%-)] is (1) how I find my messages and (2) how to locate my old posts?

{1} To the right you will see your avatar and a list of clickable button links next to it. PM’s have been changed to be called “conversations”. SO that is where you will find your messages.

I am unsure about old posts. Old posts seem to always get somewhat lost when they change the forum format.

Just click on Your Forum Discussions for all posts made by you. You can search through those.

You have to select the sort/filter to how far back to list the threads. Default is 3 months. I found all of mine, going back 1yr.
