Hi Floks, I’m the new guy on the block. I have a slight problem maybe ya’all can help with. I 've been away from MRR for years and now with my new grandson want to get back into it. My question is "which is the best of this group Bachmann E-Z track, Kato Unitrack, Life-Like Power loc or the Atlas product. I’m not sure which scale we’re going for. I guess it depends on the track. Any help or input would be highly appreciated.

I have bought the EZ track for my little girl and she has put it together and taken it apart a hundred times (or more) And it still seams to work pretty good. Hope this helps
My question to you is this: Are you planning a permanent layout or just something thew kids can set up and tear down easily?
If you see it as permanent layout- then I’d stick with the trioed and true Atlas track. If not, then go with one of the combo roadbed/track products. I’ve never used them, but others here may hqave more to say on that.

EZ track is everywhere and works okay. the turnouts sometimes need a little work. If going with a fixed layout, go with flex track. It’s cheaper and a lot more versatile.
Hi Folks, First off sorry it took so long to get back to ya, been kinda busy with some broke C-17s. Anywho we decided to do with the standard sectional track. we’re going to start off with the Atlas plan HO-13. This gives us the option of expanding to the HO-16.
