New HO car under construction

Inspired by the Dolly Varden car I stumbled across on the Garden Railways forum - http://www.trains.com/TRC/CS/forums/980326/ShowPost.aspx I’ve assembled the necessary balsa pieces to build my own.

So far one of the sides is assembled and drying, and my eyes are taking a rest from the intricate work. Thank heavens for a modellers scale ruler.

Time flies when I’m having fun - the base and sides are done, pre-painting - any suggestions on paint schemes?

Do you have a favortie rairoad? Maybe paint in those colors. I’d lean toward a bright color, such as a nice red. Help make the car stand out to show it off. Looks like alot of work, great job. [:D]
