Just ran across this new offering in the HO vehicle section of Walthers on line catalogue.
Have not heard much of the Fresh Cherries line for a while, I certainly will be getting a few when they are available.

OBOY! Count ME in–that little puppy is just perfect for my time frame and my terrain. When I was a kid, those Fords were all over the place–my dad had one for years–used to bounce around mountain roads all the time in it.

Believe it or not, when I worked summers for the US Forest Service in the late 'fifties, early 'sixties, several of those 1940’s Ford pickups were still around and doing yeoman service for some of our District Patrolmen. Those puppies were darned near indestructable. Looked pretty good in the then-dark Forest Green. Sure got around the back-country, too.
