It’s just the start, but here’s the format that I will follow.
Let me know what you think and where improvements can be made.

Chip,
A Silly Mac User Question…
Is this just a TOP LEVEL page or does it link to a Railroad content page? I could not get it to go anyplace other than your Six Shooter pages…
Chris
Not silly. Not done. I’m just starting the Train Pages Now.
I think it’s a good start Chip. One comment, the font used to overlay the train photo tricks my eyes into feeling that it is blurry. My first quick impression was that something was out of focus.
I am ready to see what you put in the RR page. I will ignor your gun pages because I don’t need another old addiction to act up again. My wife says one is enough which leaves cars and guns out for now.
Looks like a JPEG artifact problem more than a Font problem. Might want to up the quality of the jpeg when saved.
Chris
good start Spacemouse! I am interested in some of those bins too!
Want to email me?
The Model Railroad Mainpage is up
Tim and Chris–I agree. I think, I’ll re-shoot it and start the reduction process over. I tried to short cut and use an already reduced picture. It might be a while on that.
Good start! Keep up the good work!
Looks nice Chip. I’ve gotta do that too one of these days. By the way, the model railroad link under contents doesn’t work, although the photo click does.
Thanks, Fixed,
This is taking a lot longer than I planned. [:D]
I think it looks really good. [:D]
Chip, I like it a lot - especially the image at the bottom of the Model Railroading page![;)]
Good start!
Nice work, Chip.
But, have you let the camel stick not only nose but head into the tent? (I refer to the old mideastern tale about the caravan pilot who let his camel stick his nose into his tent, only to discover the camel in full possession and himself outside admiring the stars.)
I hope that progress on the Redwood Empire will not be unduly delayed - while keeping us up to date on same.
FWIW, the woods lokie in your proto-photo has a strong family resemblance to the Baldwin 0-8-0T that was the Tomikawa Tani Tetsudo’s “big power” until the 2-6-6-2T came to town.
Chuck
I love your son’s layout Chip! I really should do that for my grandson. He loves his Take along Series stuff as well as the Lego/Duplo Thomas stuff.
You’re doing great!
Chris
I figure the Rewood Empire is still two years away, although I need to get the bechwork done on Phae 1 sooner. It will double as an Entertainmens center video storage shelf. Every onece in a while I get tired of working on the layout and my church project burned me out. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time.
You’re right, it’s a Baldwin–which creates a minor problem for me. Both Bachman and Proto 2000 make Alco 0-6-0 T’s, so I’m stuck with converting the MDC kit Baldwin 0-6-0 T’s. The CW had 3 of them in 1917. They were their main motive power.
Well, that’s it for a while. Thanks for the comments.
Looks real nice. Know where I can get some stag grips for a Beretta Stampede?
