4X12 in N scale. should be very interesting. Have been waiting for 6 years for thisto happen.

Congrats! I know the frustration of being “real-estate challenged”, good luck with your layout construction.
Congrats on the newly aquired real estate! 4’ x 12’ should give you enough room for a pretty good layout in N scale. I’m working on a hollow core wood door 3’ x 6’-8" so my curves are a little scrunched up. Four feet would allow me to open them up to a decent radius.

congrats on the new home and train room. I know what your feeling as we just purchased our home 3 months ago. went from a 2 bedroom apt to a 5 bedroom home…woohoo. Now, as soon as we get out of the unpacking stage, and putting things on the wall (very long honeydo list there), I can get started on my layout. I have a 12x14 room that is going to house my around the wall n-scale layout. I wish you well in your endevours. medic
