I remember some interest about this new steamer on this sight. Well I found this on eBay: IHC 2-10-2
Doesn’t look too bad, although that tender bugs me. Not super Santa Fe looking. Just thought you’ all might be interested in a photo.

That’s no bargain when you consider that the highest bid is the price you pay IHC, and you don’t get the set of 8 passenger cars with it that IHC gives you. This seller is probably trying to make his profit by selling the free passeger car sets as a separate item, and hoping people don’t know the price you can get it for directly from IHC and will pay more than he did.
The IHC 2-10-2 is a nice looking engine, but after seeing the Spectrum 2-10-2 at the Milwaukee show in Nov. i’ll wait for it. They are going to have 3 diffrent tenders, the boiler is made of die-cast metal and still has all the details. This thing should pull an easy 50 cars .
Listing posted by Southwest Chief does say you get both for their special price which is IHC’s offer.
Some of listings in eBay appear to be pitched to the neophyte or parent seeking their child’s first RR model.

That would be the best way to go…However, let’s also say that the IHC 2-10-2 could be a alternative.
Nigel,Looks like a choice of three!
