There are 13 NJC passenger cars parked on a siding in Sagus, ca. Any idea what is going on with them?

Do you mean New Jersey Transit and the cars you are referring to are Comet I cars that Metrolink bought secondhand from NJT and i think Metrolink decided not to use them.

[:-,] Perhaps a really wrong route was lined up at an interlocking back in NJ, no one questioned it or asked for directions, they didn’t stop until they got to that other ocean, and no one has noticed and asked for them to be sent back ?
