Often one form of abuse of power occurs at the same time as other abuses, so I’m not surprised by the correlation here.
The timing of his departure speaks louder than the official spokepersons, too. Either this was the “last straw”, or NJT was just waiting for a good, solid, valid, unassailable objective reason to terminate him. I see about 1.5 million of those here.
Will be interesting be see who is next, and what their policies, directives, and practices on railfan on photos will be.
NJT runs an awful lot of trains and buses.
How many Lieutenants does NJT have in its policing function and do those people have assigned duties or jurisdiction, or are they assigned to case-by-case work?
